Why Are Investors Attracted to ETF’s?
- They tend to cost less.
- We believe there is a clear cost ratio advantage over mutual funds.
- There are no sales loads or investment minimums required to purchase an ETF.
- They may be more “tax efficient”
than mutual funds.
Exchanged Traded Funds are subject to risks similar to those of stocks. Investment returns may fluctuate and are subject to market volatility, so that an investor’s shares, when redeemed or sold, may be worth more or less than their original cost.

SIPC protection
Coverage for cash and securities in protected client accounts is provided from two sources. The Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) protects customers of its members up to $500,000, including $100,000 for claims for cash. Wachovia Securities has obtained additional protection, at no cost to clients, for the remaining net equity balance, if any, of the cash and securities in their accounts. This additional protection is subject to change. Neither coverage protects against losses from any change in the market values of investments. For more information on SIPC coverage, please see the explanatory brochure available at www.sipc.org. The additional protection is through Customer Asset Protection Company (CAPCO), which Wachovia Securities and 13 other securities firms formed in 2003.
